Autor ok. 350 artykułów poświęconych problematyce filozofii nauki oraz dialogu chrześcijaństwa z myślą współczesną, publikowanych także w języku angielskim, niemieckim, włoskim, francuskim, hiszpańskim, rosyjskim, słowackim i węgierskim. Prowadził wykłady m. in. w Berkeley, Oxfordzie, Notre Dame, Indiana, Catholic University of America w Waszyngtonie, Catholic University of Australia w Sydney.

Życiński, b. in 1948, professor of philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin, Poland; Archbishop of Lublin; Grand Chancellor of the Catholic University of Lublin; Member of the European Academy of Science and Art in Salzburg; Member of the Pontifical Council for Culture; Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences; honorary doctor of the Jagellonian University, author of 46 books in philosophy of science, relativistic cosmology, history of the relationship between natural sciences and Christian faith.
